Free Kids’ Easter Activity
To celebrate the start of Easter, and spring, we are giving away a free kids daffodil planting and Easter activity kit when you order any food item in our café (one kit per child).
Each kit contains a compostable plant pot, daffodil bulb, chocolate eggs and an awesome art activity sheet to keep the kids entertained including instructions on how to grow your bulb at home.

The Pearl Café prides itself on using locally sourced island ingredients and this Easter we are serving up some delicious treats such as hot cross buns and chocolatey cakes – perfect for a relaxing bite to eat while enjoying our stunning coastal views.

Bring the Dog!
At Isle of Wight Pearl we welcome dogs in our showroom and café, with our outside seating area facing the ocean the perfect place to let your furry friend relax on sunnier days. We also supply free dog treats and water bowls.
Take a Post-Lunch Beach Walk
We are situated in the south of the island which is considered by many to be more rural and unspoilt, meaning you can enjoy peaceful beach walks unlike anywhere else. Burn off that extra slice of cake with a stroll on Compton Beach, a two-mile stretch of untouched golden sand a few minute’s drive from us along the Military Road.

Don’t forget to try our iconic Pick-a-Pearl experience, where you get to handpick an oyster from our oyster pool and discover the hidden gem within. Watch as we grade your pearl, after which you can choose a setting to create a piece of jewellery you can wear again and again.

Go Fossil Hunting
125 million years ago, the land which now forms the Isle of Wight was home to dinosaurs! Today the 11-mile stretch of beach close to us that runs between Compton and Sandown is the perfect place to go on a fossil hunt and see what you can find! Shells, fossils and more have all been discovered here…
Visit a Dinosaur Museum
A short drive away, keen dinosaur fossil hunters will love seeing some real dinosaur bones alongside life-sized models, skeletons, prehistoric shells and lots of interesting facts and stories from the Jurassic times.
